
Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On October 27th, the third season of the Phnom Kulen Run, co-organized by the Ministry of Environment, Siem Reap Angkor Children's Hospital, private enterprises, and related partners, was successfully held, attracting over 300 participants.
At the opening ceremony, Siem Reap Deputy Governor Run Liye stated that the third season of the Phnom Kulen Run not only provided participants with an opportunity to explore beautiful natural scenery but also actively promoted environmental protection and tourism development. Simultaneously, the event raised funds for Angkor Children's Hospital to support its provision of free medical services to local children. He expressed his hope that the event could continue to be held annually and emphasized that regardless of the amount of donations, the participants' kindness and compassion are paramount, enabling everyone to help each other in emergencies.

Deputy Secretary of State of the Ministry of Environment, Chea Ha, pointed out that this run provided participants with a new experience in understanding the work of protecting Phnom Kulen's natural resources, further enhancing everyone's awareness of environmental protection.
Assistant Minister to the Prime Minister, Porekok, stressed that caring for and loving the environment is crucial, as climate change has had a negative impact on the planet. The Royal Government is actively implementing environmental protection policies to promote development in the environmental sector. Furthermore, this event also actively promotes tourism in Siem Reap Province, aligning with the government's goal of revitalizing the tourism industry, as it is a crucial driver of the national economy.
