Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – Building on the success of the inaugural Durian Festival in 2022, the second Durian Festival in Krông Pắc District, Dak Lak Province, will be held from August 31st to September 2nd, 2024.
The second Krông Pắc Durian Festival in 2024 will be larger in scale, themed "Krông Pắc Durian – Development and Integration," and will feature 12 events, including an opening and closing ceremony, a cross-country run themed "Committed to Community Health," a street carnival, and a food culture festival showcasing the various ethnic groups of Krông Pắc.
The festival will also include a seminar on "Durian Ecosystem Construction and Sustainable Development," a product and potential agricultural product exhibition and promotion event featuring "One Commune, One Product," visits to orchards for durian tasting, and tours of ancient durian trees.
It is reported that preparations for the second Krugpa Durian Festival in 2024 are basically complete, and Krugpa District is working hard to finish the remaining tasks to prepare for welcoming tourists during the National Day holiday on September 2nd.
Krugpa District currently has 7,157 hectares of durian plantations and is known as the "down payment" for durians in Dak Lak province. The Krugpa Durian Festival is not only of great significance to the local area but also a highly anticipated event for the province's farmers, helping to promote the sustainable development of the durian industry by combining tourism development with cultural preservation.
