Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On the afternoon of October 9th, the Belgian Embassy in Vietnam, through the Deep C Industrial Park and the Hai Phong City Foreign Affairs Department, held a press conference regarding information about the “2024 Belgian Culture and Food Festival – A Multi-Sensory Experience (B.Fest 2024).” The fourth Belgian Culture and Food Festival is scheduled to be held from October 25th to 27th at the Viet-Czech Friendship Cultural Palace in Hai Phong City.
Belgian Ambassador to Vietnam, Karl Van Den Bossche, emphasized that B.Fest 2024 is a typical Belgian cultural festival in Vietnam. The event aims to express gratitude to Vietnam and Hai Phong City for their partnership with Belgian businesses. It also provides a good platform for Belgians in Vietnam and the local people to understand each other's cultural values and promote economic and tourism cooperation.
Karl Van Den Bossche stated that Vietnam and Belgium have maintained close cooperation for over 50 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations. The two countries are carrying out practical cooperation in areas such as climate change, green economy, and logistics. The Deep C Industrial Park is Belgium's largest investment project in Vietnam, with a total investment exceeding US$1 billion. Furthermore, the Deep C Industrial Park has attracted over US$7.5 billion in investment and is being developed into Vietnam's first green and eco-friendly industrial park. This achievement is attributed to the significant support from Hai Phong City and the entire Vietnamese government.
Nguyen Thi Bich Dung, Director of the Hai Phong City Foreign Affairs Department, emphasized that B.Fest 2024 is also an excellent opportunity to introduce Hai Phong's culture and customs, particularly its investment incentives and open, convenient investment environment, to domestic and international friends and investors.
Attendees of the 2024 Belgian Culture and Food Festival will have the opportunity to sample 30 different Belgian beers and their best pairings. This year's festival also promotes various representative Belgian chocolates. (End)
