Nguyen Duc Trinh, Chairman of the Vietnam Musicians Association, announced this information at a press conference held in Hanoi on November 20th.

Nguyen Duc Trinh stated that the Asia-Europe New Music Festival was successfully held in Vietnam in 2014, 2016, and 2018, and has become a prestigious and iconic event in the Vietnamese professional music community. Each festival has attracted more than 200 musicians, artists, and singers from over 40 countries worldwide, providing a vibrant and meaningful space for musical exchange.

The 4th Asia-Europe New Music Festival in 2025 will serve as an artistic platform for Vietnam to continue promoting the achievements of Vietnamese revolutionary music to international friends and to introduce new works by Vietnamese musicians. This festival also provides an opportunity for foreign musicians and artists to gain a deeper understanding of Vietnamese culture, customs, and music, helping to consolidate and strengthen friendly relations and enhance the status of Vietnamese professional music in the world.

Do Hong Quan, Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts and Chairman of the Arts Committee of the Vietnam Musicians Association, stated that this year's festival attracted approximately 220 domestic musicians and artists, as well as 30 international musicians and artists from countries and regions including Russia, Tatarstan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Adyg, Denmark, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Japan, China, Australia, and Laos, to participate in performances, exchanges, and teaching.

Do Hong Quan said that the Asia-Europe International New Music Festival is a large-scale music event that affirms the borderless connecting power of music. The participation of numerous international musicians and artists demonstrates that Vietnam's musical life is increasingly highly regarded by international friends, and the status of Vietnamese music on the world music map is also rising. Through previous festivals, we can see the growing strength of young creative forces in Vietnamese music.

The 4th Asia-Europe New Music Festival 2025 is scheduled to open on the evening of November 27th at the Grand Concert Hall of the Vietnam National Academy of Music, featuring a symphony concert by the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra, kicking off a five-day series of artistic events.

In particular, within the festival framework, international experts will also hold training courses for students of the Vietnam National Academy of Music, aiming to improve the professional musical skills of young Vietnamese people.
