Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – The Cambodian Ministry of Tourism officially announced on January 15th a four-month visa-free pilot program for Chinese tourists, from June 15th to October 15th, 2026.

The announcement states that, under the direction of Prime Minister Hun Manet, the Cambodian government has decided to formally implement this visa-free pilot program for citizens holding valid Chinese passports (including residents of mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau, but excluding Taiwan). Whether Chinese citizens depart directly from China or transit through a third country/region to Cambodia, they can enjoy this visa-free privilege with a valid Chinese passport.

The announcement further clarifies that during the four-month pilot period from June 15th to October 15th, 2026, Chinese citizens do not need to apply for a visa in advance or pay any visa fees. They only need to fill out an electronic arrival card to enter Cambodia smoothly, with a maximum stay of 14 days per entry.

Based on this policy arrangement, the Cambodian Ministry of Tourism calls on the public, tourism industry associations, travel agencies, media reporters, domestic and foreign tourists, and all relevant parties to attach great importance to and actively cooperate in promoting this policy through various channels, so as to jointly promote Chinese citizens' tourism, investment, and various exchanges and cooperation in Cambodia.
