
Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – On the afternoon of December 6th, the Cambodian Girl Scout Summer Camp, themed "Discover Yourself, Achieve Your Future," officially kicked off in the scenic Kirirom National Park.
In her opening remarks, Mrs. Phetchabun Mony, President of the Cambodian Girl Scout Association, emphasized the importance of the summer camp. She pointed out that the event aims to provide girls and young women from across the country with a valuable opportunity for mobile education and life experience.

The summer camp focuses on imparting knowledge and skills beyond the classroom, dedicated to cultivating participants' sense of responsibility, independent problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and environmental awareness. Its core objective is to help all campers overcome fear, build confidence, and promote holistic personal growth.
Mrs. Phetchabun Mony further stated that the summer camp provides a unique platform for active members from different provinces and cities to get to know each other, build deep friendships, and live together. She firmly believes that the rich and engaging educational programs will have a profound and positive impact on all participants.

She urged all campers to strictly adhere to the camp rules to ensure the success of the three-day event.
Girl Scouts from the Siem Reap branch spoke on behalf of the group, expressing their thorough preparation and eager anticipation for the special event, eager to gain new knowledge and practical experience. They believed the camp activities would inspire them to become braver and stronger, and the support of their leaders and buddies made them feel warm and safe. They pledged to fully participate and strictly adhere to all camp rules.

The three-day camp program was comprehensive and diverse, aiming to promote the holistic development of campers through practical activities. Activities included an opening ceremony, experience sharing and exchange, yoga and meditation practices, forest hiking, the "Be Yourself" project, baking experiences, explanation and performance of a traditional fire ceremony, group activities, and environmental cleanup.
Through this series of educational and engaging programs, the Girl Scouts of Cambodia will continue to support young women in improving their skills and preparing them for future challenges.
