Cambodia's tourism industry is on the fast track of digital transformation.

  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) Recently, Cambodian Minister of Tourism, Hua Ha, along with Duke Chen Fengming, President of the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of the Royal Group, and Ms. Ma Suparo, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of PRAVINYA, jointly presided over and witnessed the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the digital transformation of the tourism industry. Secretary of State of the Ministry of Tourism, Ning Mao, on behalf of the Ministry, signed the MoU with Mr. Yap Kok Leong, CEO of CAMG SM (Cellcard), and Ms. Ma Suparo, Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of PRAVINYA.

  The signing ceremony was of high caliber and solemnity, attracting approximately 200 attendees, including officials at all levels of the Ministry of Tourism, invited guests from home and abroad, and representatives from CAMG SM (Cellcard) and PRAVINYA, fully demonstrating the high importance all parties attach to the digital development of Cambodia's tourism industry.

  Minister Hua Ha clarified the core direction of the cooperation at the ceremony. He stated that through this multi-party collaboration, the Ministry of Tourism will work with PRAVINYA to create the official website and eponymous application (APP) for "Visit Cambodia," which is expected to be operational in the near future. As a "super app" serving international tourists, it will leverage PRAVINYA's technology platform and collaborate with CELLCARD to expand its practical functional matrix. Its core objective is to provide convenient services and added value for international tourists planning to visit Cambodia, comprehensively enhancing their travel experience.

  At the ceremony, Minister Hua Ha expressed his sincere gratitude to the two key partners. He highly praised Duke Chen Fengming's long-term support and contributions—as President of the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce, Duke Chen Fengming has consistently participated deeply in and supported various activities, festivals, and cooperative projects of the Ministry of Tourism through diverse channels and in various forms. His support is of great significance in enhancing the competitiveness of Cambodia's tourism industry, promoting national economic development, and strengthening international influence. Minister Hua Ha also thanked Ms. Ma Soeparo and PRAVINYA for proactively working with the Ministry of Tourism to cultivate the digital tourism field during this crucial stage of global digital transformation, injecting new momentum into the modernization of Cambodia's tourism industry.

  The signing of this Memorandum of Understanding is not only an important milestone in the digital transformation of Cambodia's tourism industry but also signifies that the country's tourism industry will embrace global tourists with a more efficient and convenient service model, laying a solid foundation for the high-quality development of the industry.
