
Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – Cambodian Minister of Commerce Chan Neemo recently chaired a working meeting to review and assess the latest progress in preparations for the 18th Cambodia Trade Fair. The meeting also comprehensively evaluated key achievements of the Ministry of Commerce's various trade promotion initiatives.
The 18th Cambodia Trade Fair is scheduled to be held from December 4th to 7th at the PH Grand Hall Convention Center in Phnom Penh. The Ministry of Commerce stated that the fair will continue to play a vital role in promoting trade and investment in Cambodia.
The main objectives of this year's fair include showcasing high-quality local products and enhancing the influence of "Made in Cambodia"; promoting private sector development and stimulating market vitality; and strengthening collaboration between the government and businesses to optimize the business environment.
To further expand trade and investment cooperation opportunities, a business forum and a series of thematic seminars will be held concurrently with the fair, aiming to provide participants with a platform for in-depth exchanges and partnership building.
This working meeting also focused on discussing several key achievements and progress. The report summarized the positive results achieved by Cambodia in participating in the 30th Partnership Summit 2025; reviewed the progress of the upcoming Free Trade Agreement (FTA) information portal, which will provide businesses with convenient agreement search and application services; and assessed the effectiveness of the Cambodian Commercial Counselor in South Korea in strengthening bilateral economic cooperation between the two countries.
Through these initiatives and the annual event, the Cambodian Ministry of Commerce is continuously committed to optimizing the country's trade and investment environment, laying a solid foundation for sustainable economic development.
