Cambodia will experience cooling temperatures and rainfall across the country due to Typhoon Hagupit.

  Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – Cambodia's Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology issued a weather forecast on November 5th, stating that due to the influence of Typhoon Hagupit (No. 25 of this year), most parts of Cambodia will experience cooling temperatures and rainfall from November 5th to 7th.

  The forecast indicates that during this period, the lowest temperatures in the plains will be 21°C and the highest 29°C. Rainfall coverage is expected to be 30% in Banteay Meanchey, Battambang, Pursat, Kampong Chhnang, Siem Reap, Kampong Thom, Kampong Cham, Tbong Khmum, Prey Veng, Kandal, Takeo, Svay Rieng provinces, and the capital Phnom Penh.

  The lowest temperatures in the highlands will be 21°C and the highest 28°C. Rainfall coverage is expected to be 25% in Kampong Speu, Pailin, Oddar Meanchey, Preah Vihear, Kratie, Stung Treng, Ratanakiri, Mondulkiri provinces, as well as the Cardamom Mountains and the Nakhon Si Thom Mountains.

  The lowest temperatures in the coastal areas will be 21°C and the highest 28°C. The provinces of Koh Kong, Sihanoukville, Kampot, Kep, and Bokor Mountain are expected to receive 35% of the rainfall, with waves ranging from 0.5 to 1.75 meters.
