Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet confirmed on social media on November 4th that Cambodia is strictly fulfilling its commitments to regional peace. At 11:03 AM that day, the Cambodian Ministry of National Defense observer coordination team, working closely with the ASEAN observer team, inspected the implementation of the first phase of the repatriation of heavy weapons and equipment.

This batch of heavy weapons and equipment departed from Preah Vihear province's Chon Khesan and Lavan districts on the evening of November 1st and successfully returned to its original location in Kampong Speu province.

This withdrawal of heavy weapons and equipment is a concrete measure to implement the "Joint Declaration on Peace between Cambodia and Thailand" signed by Cambodia and Thailand in Kuala Lumpur on October 26th. The signing ceremony was witnessed by US President Trump and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.

Cambodia emphasized that this move fully demonstrates Cambodia's goodwill and firm determination to promote peace and eagerly anticipates that both sides will fully and effectively implement the joint declaration based on the principles of sincerity, friendship, and transparency.

Cambodia looks forward to making positive and lasting contributions to promoting regional peace and stability, advancing cooperation and development, and restoring normal order as soon as possible through joint efforts from both sides.
