Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On the afternoon of October 29, 2025, the Kampot Provincial Police Department, in cooperation with the Bai Cha International Border Crossing Police, successfully deported 59 Vietnamese citizens (14 of whom were women) suspected of illegal entry and residence.
It is understood that this group of 59 Vietnamese men and women was arrested by Cambodian Ministry of Interior police on October 28 in Bokor Mountain City, Kampot Province. They were detained by police on suspicion of illegal entry and illegal residence.
After completing all relevant legal procedures, Cambodian police contacted and coordinated with the relevant Vietnamese authorities and successfully completed the transfer procedures for the 59 Vietnamese citizens at the Bai Cha International Border Crossing, repatriating them to their country.
