
Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) - According to a press release issued by Cambodia's National Committee for Combating Internet Fraud on October 15, the number of suspects arrested in the country's special operation, Operation Anti-Internet Fraud Center, has risen to 3,455.
The press release stated that since June 27, Cambodian law enforcement forces have raided 92 locations in 18 of the country's 25 provinces and cities. The arrested suspects hail from 20 different countries.
This large-scale special operation, Operation Anti-Internet Fraud Center, is an unprecedented initiative in Cambodia aimed at eradicating high-tech fraud networks and maintaining public safety and social order. (End)
