Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On the 8th, reporters learned from China Construction Fourth Engineering Bureau that the main structure of the first batch of resettlement housing in Block F01 of the Zhenlong Village (West Area) urban village renovation project in Huangpu District, Guangzhou, was recently completed. This marks a new stage of full-scale sprint and quality delivery for this major livelihood project that carries the hopes of nearly 2,000 residents for their relocation.

It is understood that the Zhenlong Village (West Area) urban village renovation project is being undertaken by Guangzhou Development Zone Urban Development Group as the main contractor, with China Construction Fourth Engineering Bureau participating in the construction. Through overall planning and contiguous renovation, the project has not only significantly improved the living environment and public service facilities in the area, but also released over 60 hectares of high-quality land for regional industrial development through spatial restructuring. This has effectively guaranteed the landing of key industrial projects such as the second phase of the XPeng Motors Guangzhou Intelligent Connected Vehicle Manufacturing Base, achieving a virtuous cycle of "promoting industry through urban development and revitalizing urban development through industry."

The first phase of the project to be topped out, the F01 plot, and the simultaneously progressing F02 plot, have a total construction area of approximately 317,000 square meters, with 1,956 resettlement housing units planned. This will effectively promote the upgrade from "housing for all" to "housing for all," contributing to the creation of better communities and urban areas through the construction of high-quality housing and residential communities.

Huang Haoming, Deputy General Manager of Guangzhou Development Zone Urban Development Group Xinsheng Company, stated that in 2025, Guangzhou Development Zone Urban Development Group achieved an extraordinary pace of progress, starting construction on 24 plots, totaling 2.88 million square meters and 26,600 resettlement housing units. The group ranked first in the city in all three core indicators: the number of plots started, the area, and the number of units. It also successfully completed the topping-out of the first batch of resettlement housing units in the district's new model project and opened the model units for handover.

This project fully aligns with the "good housing" standard system, integrating the integrated construction concept of "good design, good construction, good materials, and good service." The project's planning and design are based on the concept of "Lingnan Harmony," forming an overall layout of "one axis, two belts, two cores, and two clusters." It emphasizes the preservation and restoration of nine historical and cultural heritage sites and includes nearly 90,000 square meters of affordable housing, comprehensively improving the living environment, preserving historical and cultural heritage, and ensuring housing for talent.

During construction, the project established a smart construction site management platform, integrating AI video monitoring, hook visualization, tower crane safety monitoring, high-formwork monitoring, smart safety helmets, and real-name management systems to achieve visualized, information-based, and intelligent management of the entire construction process. "We use BIM technology for full-process collaboration, combined with cutting-edge technologies such as AI recognition, drone inspections, crane wire rope wear monitoring, and construction robots, to build a smart construction scenario with full-element digital management," said Guan Yongjian, technical head of China Construction Fourth Engineering Bureau.
