  Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – Recently, with the approval of the Gansu Provincial Party Committee, the Gansu Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision filed a case for investigation into the serious disciplinary and legal violations of Chen Ce, former Party Secretary and Chairman of Gansu Provincial Urban and Rural Development Investment Group Co., Ltd.

  The investigation revealed that Chen Ce, as a leading Party member cadre of a state-owned enterprise, lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed his original aspirations and mission, was disloyal and dishonest to the Party, colluded with others to fabricate evidence, transferred and concealed evidence, and resisted organizational review; violated the spirit of the Eight-Point Regulation of the Central Committee, repeatedly accepting banquets that could affect the impartial performance of his official duties; violated organizational principles, failing to report personal matters as required, and seeking benefits for others in cadre selection and appointment while accepting money; breached the bottom line of integrity, illegally accepting gifts and money and accepting travel arrangements, having others pay for expenses that should have been borne by him, and engaging in profit-making activities in violation of regulations; violated lifestyle discipline; and, driven by greed, distorted public power into a tool for personal gain, engaged in rampant power-for-money transactions, and used his position to seek benefits for others in project contracting, fund allocation, promotion, and job transfer, illegally accepting huge amounts of money and property. His actions severely damaged the political environment of his employing unit and seriously harmed the image of Party member leading cadres.

  Chen Ce seriously violated the Party's political discipline, the spirit of the Central Eight-Point Regulation, organizational discipline, integrity discipline, and lifestyle discipline, constituting serious job-related violations and suspected bribery crimes. Moreover, he did not restrain himself after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, demonstrating the egregious nature and serious circumstances of his actions, warranting severe punishment. Based on the relevant provisions of the *Regulations on Disciplinary Sanctions of the Communist Party of China*, the *Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China*, and the *Law of the People's Republic of China on Administrative Sanctions for Public Officials*, after deliberation by the Standing Committee of the Gansu Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and approval by the Gansu Provincial Party Committee, it was decided to expel Chen Ce from the Party; the Gansu Provincial Supervisory Commission will dismiss him from public office; his illegal gains will be confiscated; and his suspected crimes will be transferred to the procuratorial organs for investigation and prosecution according to law, with all related assets transferred as well.
