The ceremony was presided over by His Excellency Eisenwo, Chairman of the CCFA, and Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia Wang Wenbin.
The ceremony was attended by Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Vice Chairman of the CCFA, Sun Zhantuo, Minister of State Ly Thuc, His Excellency Liu Fan, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Public Works and Transport and Vice Chairman of the CCFA, Lord Xu Zhenmu, Vice Chairman, Duke Li Yuzeng, Vice Chairman, Executive Committee Member Ms. Huang Ruihua, Duke Li Kuntai, and many other distinguished guests.
His Excellency Liu Fan, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Public Works and Transport and Vice Chairman of the CCFA, stated that this afternoon's handover ceremony marks another significant achievement for the CCFA. This large amount of new equipment will provide the association with better facilities for organizing conferences and seminars, and will enable it to more effectively showcase, share, and conduct educational activities for youth, students, and relevant institutions, further promoting bilateral relations between Cambodia and China.

He pointed out that, with the support of the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia, the mobile medical surgical vehicle donated by the China Pinglan Foundation will be able to perform heart surgeries and treatments for rural Cambodian children. This will not only promote technical collaboration and experience exchange between professional doctors on both sides and deepen cooperation between the two countries' medical teams, but will also introduce advanced Chinese medical technology to Cambodia. This aligns with the "Industry and Technology" strategic vision and is consistent with Cambodia's health development policies formulated under the wise leadership of Prime Minister Hun Manet.
Pinglan Public Welfare Foundation representative Liu Wenzhi explained that, with the joint efforts of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the China Peace Development Foundation, the Hong Kong Cherish Life Foundation, the Pinglan Foundation, the Cambodia-China Friendship Association, and the Yunnan Fuwai Hospital, they are working together to bring hope of health to people in remote areas of Cambodia.
He stated that this medical vehicle will provide key technical support for congenital heart disease screening in rural children and mark a new stage in Cambodian-Chinese public health cooperation. The deployment of the mobile medical vehicle will not only enhance primary healthcare services, enabling patients in remote areas to receive timely professional treatment, and benefiting children and low-income families, but will also inject new vitality into China-Cambodia public health cooperation and exchanges.
Ms. Yang Lihua, Special Representative of the Yunnan Yundi Health Research Center and Yunnan Fuwai Cardiovascular Hospital, stated that since 2018, the Yundi Center, as the first non-governmental organization to participate in the treatment of foreign children with congenital heart disease in China, has received support from public welfare projects such as Yunnan Province's "Heart Connecting Yunnan Tour" and has provided full-cycle social work services to 122 Cambodian children with congenital heart disease, including pre-treatment, surgery, and post-operative recovery.
She pointed out that participating in the launch of the mobile medical vehicle in Cambodia today has deeply impressed the collaboration between Chinese and Cambodian non-governmental organizations in the field of congenital heart disease. This not only reflects the work of both sides, but also serves as a vehicle for children with congenital heart disease to realize their dreams. We hope to continue to serve as a bridge to attract more organizations and departments to pay attention to and participate in this work.
Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia Wang Wenbin stated that the Cambodia-China Friendship Association, personally initiated by Prince Hun Sen, shoulders the important mission of enhancing friendship between the two peoples and promoting people-to-people exchanges. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Cambodia-China Friendship Association. He expressed hope that the LED screen and other equipment donated by China will help the association host more exciting events in the future.
He also stated that Chinese non-governmental organizations, such as the Beijing Pinglan Public Welfare Foundation, the China Peace Development Foundation, and the Kunming Yundi Behavioral and Health Research Center, have actively participated in the cause of China-Cambodia friendship. Working closely with local partners, they have effectively helped Cambodia improve rural healthcare and education, improve local livelihoods, and advance landmine-free development, earning widespread acclaim. He expressed confidence that more Chinese non-governmental organizations will join the ranks of promoting China-Cambodia friendship and make valuable contributions to improving the well-being of the Cambodian people and consolidating China-Cambodia friendship.
At the ceremony, His Excellency Eisenwo, Supreme Advisor to the King and Chairman of the Cambodia-China Friendship Association, expressed his deepest gratitude to the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia for donating the 7-meter-long, 3-meter-wide LED screen. This generous gift will support the association's modernization and serve as a catalyst for further activities.
Chairman Aisenwo noted that, in partnership with the China Association for Promoting International Exchange of Non-Governmental Organizations (CNIE), and coordinated by the China Peace Development Foundation and the Hepinglan Public Welfare Foundation, a mobile medical surgical vehicle and supporting equipment valued at 2.92 million RMB (approximately 480,000 USD) was donated to the Cambodia-China Friendship Association.
He emphasized that regarding the effective and efficient operation of this mobile medical surgical vehicle, he hoped that Ms. Yang Lihua, Director of the Yunnan Yundi Health Research Center, would coordinate with the Yunnan Fuwai Cardiovascular Hospital and work closely with the Cambodian medical team, following existing mechanisms and past experience, to provide health examinations, surgeries, and treatment to rural Cambodian children with congenital heart disease at the grassroots level.
