Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei issued his first statement since taking office on the 12th, stating that Iran will not renounce its revenge, will continue to block the Strait of Hormuz, and suggested that neighboring countries in the region close US military bases as soon as possible.

The statement was read by an announcer from the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRNA); Khamenei himself did not appear. The statement said that enemies have established military bases in some neighboring countries, some of which are being used to attack Iran. Iran has not attacked neighboring countries, but only targeted enemy bases. Iran will continue to take similar actions if necessary in the future, but believes it must maintain friendly relations with its neighbors.

The statement condemned the enemy's attack on Iranian schools, stating that revenge will be taken not only for the assassinated Supreme Leader, but for every Iranian killed.

The statement also said that Iran will obtain compensation from its enemies no matter what. If the enemies refuse to pay compensation, Iran will confiscate their property. If confiscation is not possible, Iran will destroy property of equivalent value.

In his statement, Mojtaba also expressed his condolences for the death of his father, Ali Khamenei, called for unity in Iranian society, and thanked the Iranian military and the "Resistance Front" armed forces.

The statement comprised seven parts: the martyred revolutionary leader, the role and responsibility of the people, the armed forces, the administrative institutions, the Resistance Front, regional countries, and how to deal with the enemy. (End)
