东南亚信息港讯（www.dnyxxg.com）据路透社24日报道，美国司法部在一份声明中表示，迈阿密一家法院当地时间24日判处海地黑帮“400 Mawozo”前头目乔利35年监禁，罪名是为绑架勒索赎金洗钱和向海地非法贩运美国枪支。

据报道，乔利在2024年初的一份认罪文件中承认，他参与了向海地走私美国枪支的阴谋，并帮助转移资金，其中部分资金来自绑架美国公民所获得的赎金。

美国司法部长梅里克·加兰德在一份声明中表示：“海地暴力团伙头目恐吓美国公民以助长其犯罪活动，我们将对他们采取全力打击措施。”
