  Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – According to Yonhap News Agency, a South Korean Army AH-1S "Cobra" attack helicopter crashed during a training exercise over Gapyeong County, Gyeonggi Province, on the morning of September 9th local time, killing both crew members on board.

  According to reports, the South Korean Army stated that the helicopter was conducting emergency procedure training over Gapyeong County when it crashed for unknown reasons. The two soldiers on board were immediately taken to the hospital but died despite resuscitation efforts. The accident did not cause an explosion or fire.

  After receiving a briefing on the accident, South Korean Defense Minister Ahn Gyu-baek instructed the Army to expedite the response and take appropriate measures. The Army has suspended flights of the same helicopter model and established an accident investigation headquarters to determine the cause of the accident.
