警方说，一名男子14日晚持刀闯入一场私人聚会，袭击了正在观看欧洲足球锦标赛德国队对苏格兰队比赛的聚会人员，造成3人受伤，其中2人重伤。该男子在逃跑时还袭击了警察，警察随即开枪将其打死。在闯入私人聚会前，这名男子在聚会附近持刀行凶，导致1名年轻男子死亡。

警方说，目前行凶者作案动机尚不清楚。
