  Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – The World Green Design Organization (WGDO), dedicated to advocating green design and promoting global green transformation, held its 15th Annual Meeting in Brussels on the 21st. The meeting focused on discussions surrounding green design and sustainable development, green design and climate change, and international standards for green design. The organization also awarded the title of "World Green Design Capital" and international green design awards.

  The meeting brought together government officials, representatives of international organizations, experts, scholars, and business leaders from nearly 20 countries. During the keynote speeches, Jo Lennen, Co-Chair of the World Green Design Forum and former Head of the European Parliament's Delegation for Relations with China, Zhu Jing, Minister-Counselor of the Chinese Mission to the EU, and Wang Jinnan, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, delivered speeches, emphasizing the strategic value of green design in the global carbon neutrality process, industrial innovation and upgrading, and international collaborative development, and calling on countries to deepen green cooperation.

  In the keynote speeches and roundtable discussions, participants discussed topics such as global climate governance, pathways for international organization participation, green technology innovation, and talent training and education, analyzing from multiple perspectives the practical paths for green design to address global environmental challenges. Wang Jun, Secretary-General of the Standards Committee of the World Green Design Organization, shared the latest developments of the "International Standard for Green Design," explaining its development framework and technical indicators.

  During the awards ceremony, the city of Sète, France, was awarded the title of "World Green Design Capital" for its innovative practices in green city construction. Six professionals from Portugal, France, Italy, and other countries received "Green Design Engineer" certificates, and 13 corporate projects from China, Belgium, Portugal, and other countries received international green design awards.

  The World Green Design Organization was registered in Brussels in September 2013 and currently has branches in 14 countries worldwide. As a non-profit organization, it aims to promote exchange and cooperation in green design technologies, materials, capital, and talent, and to build a global dialogue platform for green development.
