Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – On the 21st local time, the Greenlandic Autonomous Government released an emergency manual, urging residents to prepare for potential emergencies and recommending that each household stockpile at least five days' worth of basic necessities.

The manual reportedly includes 3 liters of drinking water per person per day, enough food for five days, and toilet paper. Hunting weapons, ammunition, and fishing gear are also included in the recommended stockpile list.

Peter Berg, Greenlandic Minister of Fisheries, Hunting, Agriculture and Sustainability, stated at a press conference that day, "Preparation is not unfounded worry, but rather proactive planning."

On the 21st, US President Trump, speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, said that Greenland is a "core national security interest" of the United States and that the US is seeking immediate negotiations to acquire Greenland, adding that the US will not seize Greenland by force.

Greenland, located in northeastern North America, is the world's largest island and an autonomous territory of Denmark with a high degree of autonomy. Defense and foreign affairs are managed by the Danish government. The United States currently maintains a military base in Greenland. Since taking office in 2025, Trump has repeatedly threatened to acquire Greenland and has stated that he would not rule out the possibility of using force. This has drawn strong opposition from European countries such as Denmark.
