Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited donated 15 million Nepalese rupees (approximately US$105,600) in aid to the National Infrastructure Reconstruction Fund on December 1st.
A spokesperson for the Nepalese Ministry of Finance told the media that the company's chairman, CEO, and other management personnel jointly presented the voucher to Rameshwal Karnal, the interim finance minister of Nepal, on December 1st.
According to statistics from the Nepalese Ministry of Finance, as of December 2nd, the fund had received a total of over 118.2 million Nepalese rupees (approximately US$831,500) in aid.
The National Infrastructure Reconstruction Fund was established by the interim government of Nepal to repair public buildings damaged by arson during the large-scale demonstrations in Nepal in early September, and to promote infrastructure reconstruction and economic recovery. (End)
