Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – Rheinmetall, Germany's largest defense contractor, released its financial report on the 6th, showing continued stable growth, with both revenue and profit reaching record highs in the first three quarters.

Data shows that in the first nine months of this year, Rheinmetall's revenue increased by 20% year-on-year, reaching €7.5 billion; operating profit increased by 18%, reaching €835 million. Management stated that the company's revenue in 2025 will increase by at least 25% compared to 2024, and plans to further improve profitability in the fourth quarter of this year.

However, the company's "Nomination" segment (including traditional order revenue and new framework agreements signed with military clients) saw a significant decline, totaling approximately €18 billion, a decrease of 18% year-on-year. Nevertheless, this figure remains above the long-term average.

Analysts believe that although some NATO countries hope to significantly increase military spending, the actual order placement process has been relatively slow. Rheinmetall's largest customer is the German Federal Armed Forces. Due to the delay in the approval of the federal budget, some orders have been postponed. However, German defense spending is largely unconstrained by the "debt brake" mechanism, so the company's overall outlook remains generally positive.

"We have achieved strong growth and are steadily progressing towards our ambitious annual targets," said Armin Papeger, CEO of Rheinmetall. The company is well-prepared for strong growth in the fourth quarter, especially as key projects for the Federal Armed Forces have been approved in the federal budget and will commence in the coming months.

Rheinmetall's product line is extensive, including tanks, artillery, anti-aircraft guns, military trucks, drones, and ammunition. In the field of artillery shells, the company is the largest manufacturer in the Western world. To meet growing demand, Rheinmetall is accelerating the expansion of its production capacity, with 13 factories currently under construction or expansion in Europe. In addition, the company has signed an agreement with the Bulgarian government to build two new ammunition and gunpowder production plants in the country. (End)
