  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On the afternoon of November 6, 2025, a 60-meter-high boiler tower collapsed at a power plant in Ulsan, a city in southeastern South Korea, burying at least seven people. Two others were rescued.

  A spokesperson for the South Korean presidential office said that after receiving a report on the accident, President Lee Jae-myung ordered all available equipment and manpower to be deployed to properly handle the situation, especially to rescue those trapped and to prevent secondary accidents.

  It was reported that the power plant had been shut down, and the accident occurred during preparations for dismantling operations. (End)
