The Guangdong Meteorological Bureau stated that the cold high-pressure system will continue to control Guangdong until the 9th, during which time most parts of the province will experience cold weather, with frost (ice) in some cities and counties. The Guangdong Provincial Meteorological Bureau predicts that the cold weather will persist throughout the province from the 8th to the 9th. Particularly on the 8th, the minimum temperatures in northern Guangdong and the northern Pearl River Delta will drop to -1 to 4℃, with lows in high-altitude mountainous areas falling to -4 to 0℃, and some cities and counties experiencing frost (ice).
