  Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – Data released by China's National Energy Administration on the 24th shows that, according to data from the National Charging Infrastructure Monitoring and Service Platform, as of the end of May 2026, the total number of electric vehicle charging infrastructure (guns) in China reached 22.497 million, a year-on-year increase of 44.9%.

  Among them, public charging facilities (guns) numbered 4.951 million, a year-on-year increase of 25.9%, with a total rated power of 242 million kilowatts and an average power per gun of approximately 48.89 kilowatts; private charging facilities (guns) numbered 17.546 million, a year-on-year increase of 51.4%, with a registered power capacity of 151 million kilovolt-amperes.

  The data states that the average power per gun is approximately 48.89 kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 8.9%, maintaining a steady growth trend this year, and the rapid charging service capacity of charging stations continues to improve. The year-on-year growth rate of the number of private charging facilities (guns) has consistently exceeded 50% this year, indicating rapid development of home charging facilities. (End)
