Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – The Ministry of Economy and Finance, in its "2026 Socio-Economic Development Plan for Saikong Province," clearly states that the province aims to achieve economic growth of 6% or higher by 2026. The growth targets for core industries are: 6.4% for agriculture, 6.8% for industry, and 4.9% for services; the planned annual per capita income is 25.17 million kip (approximately US$1,160). To ensure the achievement of these goals, Saikong Province will focus on eight key measures:

Developing compliant and appropriate policies to attract investment efficiently and ensure sustained, balanced, and sustainable economic growth; creating a favorable development environment to support the steady growth and continuous expansion of SMEs.

  2. Strengthening the Entire Enterprise Development Chain. Providing comprehensive guidance and support to entrepreneurs, covering areas such as access to funding, market expansion, product and service standards, innovation exploration, and the application of modern technologies to help improve production efficiency.

  3. Improving Infrastructure and Investment Guarantees. IV. Promote the upgrading and improvement of comprehensive infrastructure, establish and improve investor incentive mechanisms, and enhance the confidence of market entities in investment and operation.

VIII. Promote diversified industrial transformation. Focus on enriching the supply system of goods and services to reduce dependence on natural resources; prioritize guiding investment in non-resource-dependent industries such as agricultural product processing, food and home appliance manufacturing, and handwoven fabrics to solidify the foundation for strong economic growth.

IV. Deepen regional and international economic integration. Promote the implementation of relevant integration policies and create a more efficient trade, investment, and service support system.

VIII. Optimize revenue and expenditure management mechanisms. Improve the revenue and expenditure management system of provincial and regional departments to enhance management efficiency; strictly implement expenditures according to approved plans to maximize the efficiency of fund utilization and strengthen the refined planning and systematic supervision of daily expenditures.

VI. Solidify tiered responsibility for poverty alleviation. Promote the construction of an independent economy through a five-level linkage of province, county, township, village, and household, concentrate funds and resources on poverty alleviation, and ensure the achievement of core development goals.

VIII. Strengthen planning tailored to local conditions. Departments at the provincial, regional, township, and village levels should leverage their own potential and advantages to conduct precise research and planning in the production and service sectors, fully utilize existing development opportunities, and promote high-quality regional socio-economic development.
