Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – China's civil aviation passenger traffic in May reached 59.126 million, a year-on-year decrease of 7.1%.
The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) released key production indicators for civil aviation in May. Data shows that in May, the total air transport turnover was 13.53 billion ton-kilometers, a year-on-year increase of 0.1%. Domestic air transport turnover was 7.95 billion ton-kilometers, a year-on-year decrease of 5.9%; international air transport turnover was 5.59 billion ton-kilometers, a year-on-year increase of 9.9%.
Regarding passenger transport, in May, domestic air passenger traffic reached 52.7 million, a year-on-year decrease of 8%; international air passenger traffic reached 6.426 million, a year-on-year increase of 0.3%.
Regarding cargo and mail transport, in May, civil aviation cargo and mail transport volume reached 878,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 2.4%. Domestic air cargo and mail transport volume was 469,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 2.5%; international air cargo and mail transport volume was 409,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 8.7%.
