Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – According to the National Immigration Administration of China, the average daily number of inbound and outbound passengers at ports nationwide during this year's Spring Festival holiday is predicted to exceed 2.05 million, a 14.1% increase compared to last year's Spring Festival holiday.
Among them, major airport ports are expected to see a significant increase in inbound and outbound passenger flow. The peak outbound passenger flow is expected to be concentrated on February 15th (the 28th day of the twelfth lunar month), while the peak inbound passenger flow is expected to be concentrated on February 22nd and 23rd (the sixth and seventh days of the first lunar month). The average daily inbound and outbound passenger flow at Shanghai Pudong, Guangzhou Baiyun, Beijing Capital, Chengdu Tianfu, and Shenzhen Bao'an airports is expected to be 104,000, 57,000, 43,000, 21,000, and 18,000 respectively. Land border crossings adjacent to Hong Kong and Macau are expected to see relatively lower passenger flow. The passenger flow is expected to remain stable, with the peak travel period concentrated on February 18th and 19th (the second and third days of the Lunar New Year). The average daily inbound and outbound passenger flow at Shenzhen's Luohu, Futian, Shenzhen Bay, West Kowloon Station of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link, and Liantang Port is expected to be 209,000, 182,000, 157,000, 112,000, and 93,000 respectively. At Zhuhai's Gongbei, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, Hengqin, and Qingmao Ports, the average daily inbound and outbound passenger flow is expected to be 308,000, 127,000, 99,000, and 98,000 respectively.
With the continued optimization of visa-free and consumption-boosting policies, both inbound and outbound tourism are expected to increase during the Spring Festival holiday, leading to peak passenger flow at some major border crossings. The National Immigration Administration recently issued specific arrangements for border inspection work during the Spring Festival holiday, requiring border inspection authorities nationwide to strengthen monitoring of inbound and outbound traffic and port operations, promptly release information on passenger flow at their respective ports to provide reference for travelers' travel arrangements, and allocate sufficient police force to ensure that Chinese citizens' queuing time for immigration clearance does not exceed 30 minutes.
