That morning, accompanied by a loud whistle, the first "door-to-door" New Year's goods special train of 2026 from the China-Europe Railway Express (Xi'an) smoothly came to a stop on the dedicated line of the Xi'an Aiju Group Industrial Park. This train departed from the dedicated line of the overseas factory of Xi'an Aiju Group in North Kazakhstan. After arriving at Xi'an International Port Station, it did not need to be transferred to automobiles; instead, it delivered goods directly to the factory's door via the dedicated railway line, achieving a seamless "factory-to-factory" connection.
"This year, we've launched new products for our New Year's goods, including finished products like noodles processed in Kazakhstan, which you can buy with confidence," said Liu Dongmeng, Party Secretary of Xi'an Aiju Grain and Oil Industry Group. "The 'door-to-door' model eliminates the need for truck transshipment, significantly improving transportation efficiency and further reducing costs. High-quality overseas grains and oils are now available on domestic shelves more quickly, enriching the Spring Festival market supply and making people's 'New Year's shopping baskets' increasingly reflective of the Silk Road spirit."
It is understood that, relying on the fast and convenient China-Europe Railway Express (Xi'an) system, the Xi'an Chanba International Port's "New Year's Goods Train" has been operating for many years. This "door-to-door" New Year's goods train, through optimized transportation organization, achieves efficient connections throughout the entire process, enriching people's dining tables, helping enterprises reduce costs and increase efficiency, and promoting increasingly close and efficient economic and trade exchanges between Shaanxi and Central Asia.
On the same day, the 3rd China-Europe Railway Express New Year's Goods Festival and the 2026 Shaanxi International Sister City Carnival, themed "Celebrating the New Year and Discussing the Silk Road," opened at the Xi'an Aiju Group Park located in Xi'an Chanba International Port.
