Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – An official from the Myanmar Rubber Growers and Producers Association recently revealed that in the first nine months of the 2025-2026 fiscal year (April to December), Myanmar's rubber exports exceeded 200,000 tons, generating over US$300 million in revenue, indicating a stable and positive export trend.
The official explained that the Chinese market dominates Myanmar's rubber exports during this period, accounting for approximately 75% to 80% of total exports. The remaining export share mainly flows to countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea, India, and Japan, demonstrating a diversified export market.
It is understood that Myanmar has a solid foundation in the rubber industry, with over 1.6 million hectares of rubber plantations nationwide. Mon State is the country's main rubber-producing region, ranking first in both planting scale and output, followed by Tanintharyi State and Kachin State, forming the core production areas of Myanmar's rubber industry.
