As a key project in Vietnam's strategy to build an international financial center, the center aims to enhance the country's global financial competitiveness and inject new momentum into the high-quality development of Da Nang and Vietnam as a whole.
According to the plan, the center will be developed into a modern international financial center deeply integrating innovation ecosystems, digital technologies, and sustainable finance. It will establish a "regulatory sandbox" pilot platform, focusing on exploring cutting-edge financial models such as digital assets, digital payments, and specialized exchanges. Simultaneously, it will develop supply chain finance, third-party financial services, and non-deposit-taking lending institutions, complementing the traditional banking system and building a diversified, professional, and internationally competitive financial product and service system.
In his address, Nguyen Binh Hoa, member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Deputy Prime Minister, affirmed the efficient execution of the Da Nang City's preparatory work. He requested that Da Nang City closely collaborate with Ho Chi Minh City, unify regulatory and operational standards, and form a complementary and synergistic development pattern; accelerate the improvement of its governance structure, adhering to the principles of streamlining, professionalism, and efficiency, and cultivate an international talent pool with a global perspective, professional competence, and integrity to meet the needs of high-level international cooperation.
