Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) On New Year's Day 2026, the Guangzhou Railway Bureau of China Railway, in conjunction with the cultural and tourism departments of Chenzhou City, Hunan Province, launched the first "Hunan Super League" fan special train Y888 in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. More than a thousand players, fans, and their families from the Hunan FC team in the Greater Bay Area boarded the special train from Shenzhen East Railway Station to Chenzhou to watch the game.

That morning, the waiting room at Shenzhen East Railway Station was filled with enthusiasm and vitality. Eye-catching signs printed with "Special Train Escorts Directly to the Stadium" and "Fan Special Train Departs for Passion" were passed among passengers. At 10:05 a.m., with a loud whistle, the Y888 train, printed with "Landscape Painting · See You in Chenzhou," slowly pulled out of the platform, marking the official launch of the first "Hunan Super League" fan special train in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in 2026. The train carrying players, fans, and their families traveled to Chenzhou, Hunan Province, for a key Hunan Super League match on the evening of January 2nd.

It is understood that the Y888 special train is a "point-to-point" round-trip service meticulously organized by Guangdong Railway Youth International Cultural Tourism Group in collaboration with the Chenzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio, Television and Sports, to meet the cross-city viewing needs of fans in the Greater Bay Area. The outbound Y888 train departed from Shenzhen East Station at 10:05 AM on January 1st, stopped at Guangzhou Station, and arrived in Chenzhou at 4:30 PM on the same day. The return Y887 train will depart from Chenzhou at 3:21 PM on January 3rd, stop at Guangzhou Baiyun Station, and return to Shenzhen East Station at 10:30 PM on the same day, achieving a seamless connection between "returning home to cheer on their team during the holiday" and "returning to work on time."

Inside the carriages, cheers from fans filled the air, creating a sea of joy. The passengers were mainly young and middle-aged adults, with many families traveling across three generations. Elderly fans chatted with their seatmates, sharing their years of experience watching matches; young parents patiently explained the rules of football to their children; accompanying players interacted warmly with fans, expressing their gratitude. The fan association also organized a rehearsal of cheering slogans, filling the journey with passion and laughter.

To meet the travel needs of fans from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area traveling to cheer on their idols, Guangdong Railway Youth International Cultural Tourism Group, in collaboration with Shenzhen Railway Station, proactively responded, meticulously prepared, adjusted train scheduling, and conducted full-process drills focusing on passenger flow organization, passenger service, and emergency response. Shenzhen East Railway Station optimized passenger routes in advance, opened all security checkpoints, and increased manpower at key locations to strengthen guidance. Railway Youth Cultural Tourism Company focused on improving the travel experience, not only ensuring the supply of food and goods but also launching Hunan-style specialties, making the train a "mobile station" that fosters hometown ties and ignites passion.

"The purpose of launching the fan-dedicated train is not only to serve fans, allowing them to reach the stadium conveniently, efficiently, and safely, but also to create an atmosphere, forming a mobile cheering squad, igniting their passion for football from the journey along the way to the stadium," said Li Huakang, Party Branch Secretary of Shenzhen East Railway Station, explaining the initial intention behind the train's launch.

"The launch of the fan-dedicated train effectively alleviates traffic pressure during peak travel periods on match days and significantly enhances the viewing experience and sense of well-being for fans," said Zhang Maomi, General Manager of Shenzhen Tieqing Company of Guangdong Tieqing International Cultural Tourism Group. He added that the train is not just a simple transportation service, but a vivid example of the integrated development of "sports + tourism + transportation."

In addition, Chenzhou City also simultaneously launched a special cultural tourism package for "10,000 fans from the Greater Bay Area to tour Chenzhou." (End)
