Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – At the beginning of 2026, construction was in full swing at multiple industrial project sites in Hainan. With the Hainan Free Trade Port now operational, industrial development is ushering in new opportunities, and major projects are progressing rapidly, striving for early completion and production.

At the Haikou National High-tech Industrial Development Zone's Biomedical Industry Innovation Center project site, multiple aerial work platforms and excavators were operating back and forth, with workers busily carrying out glass curtain wall construction, interior decoration, and landscaping. The sounds of hammering and machinery filled the air.

As a key construction project of the Hainan Free Trade Port, the Haikou High-tech Industrial Development Zone Biomedical Industry Innovation Center project has a total construction area of over 83,000 square meters, consisting of 7 industrial plants, 1 research and office building, 1 exhibition center, and related supporting facilities, with a total investment of 630 million yuan. Upon completion, the project will fully leverage the locational and policy advantages of the Hainan Free Trade Port to attract leading domestic and international enterprises and talent, promoting the development of the biopharmaceutical industry chain in the park towards high-end, intelligent, and international directions.

"To ensure the timely achievement of all milestones, the project team continuously optimizes various professional construction plans, advancing the construction of each professional project with a meticulous attitude," said Wang Jianli, Production Manager of the Biopharmaceutical Industry Innovation Center Project at China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Hainan Company. According to the construction plan, the project aims to achieve 100% completion of rough decoration, 80% completion of exterior facade and electromechanical installation, and 30% completion of fine decoration before the Spring Festival this year, laying the foundation for the project's rapid commissioning.

At the construction site of the Chengmai Zhejiang-Hainan Cooperation Industrial Park, pile drivers roared, and construction vehicles moved in an orderly manner. It is understood that the project plans to construct nine buildings, including factory buildings, a comprehensive building, and a canteen, with a total construction area of approximately 131,300 square meters. Upon completion, the project will become an important platform for deepening industrial cooperation and promoting coordinated regional development between Zhejiang and Hainan provinces, injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of the Hainan Free Trade Port.

Yang Dezhi, the project manager of the Chengmai Zhejiang-Hainan Cooperation Industrial Park project under China Railway Fourth Bureau Construction Company, introduced that since the successful completion of the first pile construction on November 21, 2025, the project team has seized the golden construction period of autumn and winter in Hainan, scientifically organized and implemented a project plan to fully promote the pile foundation construction. Currently, static load tests of the pile foundations have been fully launched, earthwork backfilling is progressing in an orderly manner, and the construction of temporary roads on site is being carried out simultaneously, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent main structure construction.

At the construction site of Package A of the Haikou New Hailudao Logistics Park's starting area, builders from China Metallurgical TianGong Group Co., Ltd. are making every effort to reach the January capping milestone for two high-standard warehouses, 2-6 and 2-7. It is reported that the project has a total construction area of approximately 141,800 square meters, and its main construction contents include two high-standard warehouses, one cold storage building (including a cold storage power center), one logistics big data integrated information command center, and supporting facilities.

A representative from MCC TianGong Group Co., Ltd. stated that upon completion, the project will become a regional international logistics hub serving Southeast Asia and the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area, significantly improving regional logistics distribution efficiency and contributing to Hainan Free Trade Port's role as a leading hub in the "dual circulation" development strategy.
