Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – According to a report released on the 12th by the Guangzhou Nansha Guangdong-Macao Development Promotion Association, a delegation led by the Macao Investment Promotion Institute and including representatives from the Bank of China Macao Branch and the Macao Development Strategy Research Center recently visited Guangzhou to conduct a special research and investigation activity themed "Precise Investment Promotion and Industrial Collaboration for Overseas Expansion."

The research focused on the automotive industry chain, export channels, and overseas service ecosystem of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It involved in-depth discussions with key platforms and leading enterprises, systematically promoting Macao's business advantages, and exploring feasible paths for leveraging Macao as a platform between China and Portuguese-speaking countries to empower mainland automotive companies to "go global."

During the visit, the delegation toured the Guangzhou Nansha Shazai Island Automotive Export Industrial Base, visiting the GAC Group's export vehicle service base and the Guangzhou Port near-sea terminal to gain firsthand understanding of the Nansha Ro-Ro terminal's operation model, export vehicle distribution process, and the construction of automotive export channels.

During the subsequent symposium, representatives from Guangzhou Near-Sea Port Operation Co., Ltd., and automotive export and supply chain service companies introduced their current automotive export business layout, port clearance efficiency, overseas market expansion, and supporting services. They also engaged in in-depth discussions on the cooperation potential of the Macao platform in areas such as financial support, international market access, and Sino-Portuguese economic and trade services.

Through on-site visits and face-to-face exchanges, the delegation gained a more intuitive and systematic understanding of Nansha's locational advantages, port conditions, and industrial agglomeration foundation as an important automotive export hub in the Greater Bay Area, laying a solid foundation for future collaborative overseas expansion between Macao and Nansha.

In addition, the delegation visited the Guangzhou Automobile Service Industry Association, toured the Automobile Industry Innovation and Exhibition Center, and held a special seminar on deepening cooperation. (End)
