  According to data released by the Anhui Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision on the 26th, in February 2026, the province's discipline inspection and supervision organs investigated 621 cases of violations of the Central Eight-Point Regulation, criticizing and educating 799 people, of whom 655 received Party disciplinary or administrative sanctions.

  In terms of the types of problems investigated: 101 cases involved formalism and bureaucracy, resulting in criticism and education for 127 people and Party disciplinary or administrative sanctions for 102 people. Among these, 65 cases involved leading cadres failing to fulfill their duties, failing to act, acting improperly, or acting falsely in serving economic and social development and ecological environmental protection, accounting for 64.4% of the total number of formalism and bureaucracy cases. 520 cases involved hedonism and extravagance, resulting in criticism and education for 672 people and Party disciplinary or administrative sanctions for 553 people. These included three categories of problems: accepting and giving valuable gifts and cash, illegal dining and drinking, and illegal distribution of allowances or welfare benefits.

  In terms of the rank of those investigated: 24 were county-level or higher leading cadres (22 of whom received Party disciplinary or administrative sanctions); 775 were township-level or lower cadres (633 of whom received Party disciplinary or administrative sanctions), accounting for 97% of the total number of people dealt with.
