  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) Recently, a delegation of 10 candidates from the 15th constituency (Group 1) of Champasak Province, Laos, held a meeting with local voters in Nainongphong village, Champasak district. The delegation was led by Lao Prime Minister and candidate for the constituency, Somsay Siphandone, with the remaining nine candidates as members. Leaders of Champasak district, village officials, and voter representatives from Nainongphong, Dongkoyi, Dongxiangla, and Tatham villages warmly welcomed the delegation.

  At the meeting, voters listened to brief introductions of the resumes and plans for the 20 candidates (numbered 1 to 20) for the 15th constituency. In his speech, Somsay Siphandone emphasized the functions, powers, and core values ​​of the National Assembly, stressing that National Assembly elections are an important measure to implement the national political system, improve the people's democratic system, and optimize the national administrative mechanism. He stated that the National Assembly, as the core institution through which the people exercise their power, always prioritizes the interests of the people and is committed to promoting national transformation and development towards a stronger, more transparent, and people-oriented society. This meeting aimed to help voters gain a deeper understanding of the parliamentary system, assist them in exercising their democratic rights according to law, and cast a rational vote on election day to jointly achieve the established goals of national development.

  Following this, the 10 candidates introduced themselves, detailed their campaign goals, and elaborated on their policy visions in areas such as economic development and improving people's livelihoods, pledging to wholeheartedly serve the social welfare. The candidates also called on voters to unite and actively participate in this national event, electing qualified, knowledgeable, capable, and visionary representatives to lay the foundation for the National Assembly to perform its duties effectively.
