  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) On the afternoon of March 5th, the Vietnamese People's Navy ship "Quang Trung" (016) arrived at the Kunawara Naval Base in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia. The ship belongs to the 162nd Brigade of the 4th Naval Region of Vietnam, and a delegation led by Senior Colonel Nguyen Minh Linh, Deputy Chief of Staff of the 4th Naval Region, accompanied the ship.

  The main purpose of this stop was to conduct logistical support and technical assistance, preparing for the ship's subsequent voyage to Sydney. Senior Colonel Bernadette Alexander, Commander of the Kunawara Naval Base, and Colonel Nguyen Anh Vu, Vietnam's Defense Attaché to Australia, personally greeted the delegation at the port.

  Upon arrival, the delegation and all crew members of the "Quang Trung" (016) strictly adhered to Australian quarantine and entry regulations. Representatives from both navies reached an agreement on arrangements for subsequent activities.

  As planned, the 016 ship "Guangzhong" will depart from Darwin for Sydney on March 7 to participate in the international fleet review commemorating the 125th anniversary of the Royal Australian Navy and to participate in the "Kakadu 2026" exercise. (End)
