Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) On the evening of January 28th, to commemorate the 85th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's return to Vietnam to directly lead the Vietnamese Revolution (1941-2026), the People's Committees of Cao Bang Province, Hanoi City, Nghe An Province, and Ho Chi Minh City, in conjunction with Vietnam National Television, simultaneously held a special program entitled "Sculpting the Land with Bare Hands" at historical sites in the four locations.
General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam and others attended the main venue at the Bac Po National Special Relics Area in Cao Bang Province; President Luong Cuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man attended the branch venues in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Nghe An Province, respectively.
The program featured over 800 professional and amateur performers and was structured around the theme "From Decision to Action, From History to the Present," divided into three chapters: "Opening the Way with Hands," "Embracing the People," and "Raising the Banner," serving both as a commemoration of history and a call to action for the present and future.
In his speech, General Secretary To Lam emphasized that this program was both an opportunity to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh's great achievements and an opportunity for all cadres and Party members to examine their own responsibilities. He reiterated that the core value of President Ho Chi Minh's return to Vietnam lies in three vivid lessons: self-reliance and continuous self-improvement are prerequisites for national independence; relying on the people is the source of revolutionary strength; and combining national strength with the strength of the times is key to development.
To Lam pointed out that it is currently necessary to transform the development goals established by the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam from political resolve into concrete actions and from development orientation into substantial results. He pledged to lead the entire nation in inheriting President Ho Chi Minh's legacy, building a peaceful, independent, self-reliant, strong, and prosperous Vietnam, and contributing to regional and global peace and development.
That afternoon, General Secretary To Lam led a central working group to the Bac Po National Special Relics Area to pay homage to the Ho Chi Minh Shrine and lay flowers, and visited Coc Po Cave, where President Ho Chi Minh lived during his revolutionary period. (End)
