Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On the evening of January 5th, Dong Xuan Shopping Center, in conjunction with Vietnamese-invested enterprises in Germany, held a Spring Festival gathering in Berlin themed "Dong Xuan Shopping Center and Enterprises Working Together for Development."
In his address, Vietnamese Ambassador to Germany Nguyen Duc Thanh emphasized that over the past 20 years, Dong Xuan Shopping Center has not only achieved remarkable operational success but has also become a shared home for hundreds of Vietnamese enterprises, making positive contributions to the Vietnamese community in Germany, the development of Berlin, and the building of the strategic partnership between Vietnam and Germany. He pointed out that these achievements fully demonstrate the diligent, pragmatic, innovative, and collaborative spirit of the Vietnamese community in Germany, as well as their efforts to deeply integrate into local society; they also help showcase Vietnam's national image and spread Vietnamese customs and cultural values to the German public and international friends.
Gregor Hoffmann, representative of the Lichtenberg District Government of Berlin, stated that the development achievements of Vietnamese enterprises in the Lichtenberg District are of great significance to the district, the city of Berlin, and all partners involved. He highly recognized the value of Dong Xuan Shopping Center as an important location in Berlin, and pledged that the local government would continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with Dong Xuan Shopping Center and the Vietnamese community residing in Lichtenberg, providing strong support.
After more than 20 years of development, Dong Xuan Shopping Center has achieved leapfrog development, becoming one of the largest and most representative shopping centers in Germany and even Europe for the Vietnamese community. Located in Berlin's Lichtenberg district, Dong Xuan Shopping Center is not only a vibrant trading hub, bringing together hundreds of shops selling clothing, food, home furnishings, and logistics services; it also plays an important cultural and community role, contributing significantly to the preservation of Vietnamese cultural characteristics and promoting economic and cultural cooperation between the Vietnamese community and German society.
