Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – The Vietnamese Minister of Construction has just signed a decision to establish a Steering Committee for the Implementation of Railway Projects Connecting with China. Minister Tran Hong Minh will serve as the committee's chairman.
The committee's tasks include guiding the research and implementation of relevant policies, tasks, and solutions to address issues related to railway projects connected with China (Lao Cai-Hanoi-Haiphong Line, Hanoi-Dong Dang Line, Haiphong-Ha Long-Mong Cai Line) invested in by the Ministry of Construction, ensuring project progress and quality.
The committee will also guide investors, project management committees, and relevant agencies and units in the following tasks: organizing and implementing projects according to their assigned functions and tasks; closely coordinating and effectively providing consultation, proposing project implementation plans and measures; inspecting and supervising the implementation of tasks specified in the project investment proposals and project approval decisions by all organizations and individuals to ensure construction progress and engineering quality; and carrying out other tasks related to project advancement.
