Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On November 28, 2025, the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee of Vietnam held a working meeting with Arque Degi Company and wealthy individuals from Switzerland, Monaco, Panama, and other countries to officially launch the three floating city and tourism service projects on Degi Lake – the Southern (Section 16.1), Central (Section 16.2), and Northern (Section 16.3) service areas. This marks a new stage in the province's high-end tourism development.

At the meeting, Gia Lai Provincial Party Secretary Thai Dai Ngoc emphasized that the three projects are a "strategic milestone" for the province's socio-economic development. He pointed out that the projects focus on high-end real estate and luxury yacht tourism, aiming to attract wealthy individuals, politicians, royalty, and international celebrities from Europe and the Middle East for vacations, thus fully activating the region's high-end consumption potential.

Pham Anh Tuan, Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, stated that the provincial government has created complete conditions for the project's implementation and requires investors to fulfill their commitments, promote construction to high standards, and balance ecological protection with sustainable development. He clarified that the project will reshape the province's economic landscape, particularly driving the upgrading of the service and tourism industries. In the future, it will also leverage high-end tourist traffic to create an internationally competitive financial services center. At the meeting, Pham Anh Tuan, representing the provincial government, presented investment licenses for three projects to Arque Degi, with a total investment of VND 8.5 trillion.

Song Duc Hieu, Chairman of Vietnam Lac Viet Group and General Manager of Arque Degi, stated that the project is a "model of the integration of luxury, sustainability, and technological innovation," aligning with Vietnam's strategy of prioritizing both economic development and environmental protection. As the world's first zero-emission yacht community, the Degi Lake project not only revolutionizes luxury lifestyles but also aims to propel Vietnam to the forefront of global luxury and sustainable development. He revealed that Lac Viet Group, in conjunction with the Swiss Finance Suisse Foundation and the century-old yacht company Palmer Johnson, after surveying Vietnam's 3,200-kilometer coastline, determined that Gia Lai province possesses irreplaceable advantages in its marine climate, natural landscape, and cultural heritage.

Song Duc Hieu explained that the project will transform Gia Lai province into an international high-end resort destination, promote the coastal areas of Duc Cat and An Luong as exemplary growth poles, attract high-quality investment through a chain reaction, and contribute to smart urbanization, thereby comprehensively enhancing the province's international tourism competitiveness. At the event, Arque Degi also donated 1 billion VND to Gia Lai province for local disaster reconstruction efforts. (End)
