Vietnam promotes pragmatic cooperation with Saint Kitts and Nevis

  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) On October 15th, Le Quang Long, Vietnamese Ambassador to Cuba and concurrently serving as Ambassador to Saint Kitts and Nevis, presented his credentials to Governor-General Marcela Liberd in Pastoral, the capital of Saint Kitts and Nevis.

  Ambassador Le Quang Long conveyed the greetings and congratulations of Vietnamese President Luong Cuong to Governor-General Marcela Liberd and the people of Saint Kitts and Nevis, emphasizing Vietnam's commitment to and desire to promote friendship and multifaceted cooperation with Saint Kitts and Nevis.

  During a meeting with Saint Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister Terence Drew, Ambassador Le Quang Long conveyed the greetings of Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. The two sides discussed measures to promote cooperation in areas such as agriculture. Ambassador Le Quang Long stressed Vietnam's willingness to share its experience and encouraged enterprises from both countries to cooperate in investment, production, and exports in the agricultural sector.

  In a meeting with leaders of the Saint Kitts and Nevis Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both sides agreed to promote a pragmatic cooperation mechanism. On this occasion, Ambassador Le Quang Long thanked the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis for supporting Vietnam's candidacy for a seat on the UN Human Rights Council for the 2026-2028 term, fully demonstrating the solidarity and political trust between the two sides.

  The activities carried out during Ambassador Le Quang Long's visit have helped consolidate the foundation of friendly relations between Vietnam and St. Kitts and Nevis, and opened up new prospects for pragmatic cooperation in multiple fields that align with the interests and potential of both countries.
