
Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – At 11:30 PM on August 23, following instructions from Cambodian Royal Armed Forces Deputy Commander-in-Chief and National Gendarmerie Commander-in-Chief Sao Sokha and Sihanoukville Provincial Governor Monsina, and under the overall command of Sihanoukville Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Hing Van Thie, local law enforcement forces conducted a special raid on a 22-story hotel in Village 2, Sangkat 3 of Sihanoukville Province, successfully dismantling a hidden international online fraud den.

The operation was led by Sihanoukville Provincial Gendarmerie Deputy Commander Song Gusso, and involved 20 professional security intelligence officers. Under the full coordination and legal supervision of the Deputy Prosecutor of the Sihanoukville Provincial Court, a comprehensive search and evidence collection was conducted at the hotel premises, with all procedures performed in a standardized and compliant manner.
During the on-site investigation, law enforcement officers arrested a total of 35 foreign nationals involved in the case, including 32 from mainland China and Taiwan, 2 from Pakistan, and 1 from India. Meanwhile, a large number of tools and physical evidence, including 28 all-in-one mobile phones, 13 laptops, 55 mobile phones used for fraud, and 40 personal mobile phones belonging to the suspects, were seized at the scene.

Currently, all suspects and all seized evidence have been transferred to the specialized office of the Sihanoukville Provincial Gendarmerie Command. Subsequent interrogations, investigations, evidence collection, and related legal proceedings are proceeding in an orderly manner.
