Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) On the afternoon of May 9th, police in Sihanoukville Province, Cambodia, in conjunction with multiple departments, conducted a special enforcement operation, raiding the "Golden Jade Hall" casino building suspected of organizing online fraud and illegally harboring foreign nationals. Hundreds of foreign nationals involved in the case were successfully apprehended.

The operation was ordered by Cambodian National Police General Commissioner Su Thon and carried out under the unified command of the joint administrative command led by Sihanoukville Governor Monsina. The provincial court prosecutor coordinated the entire operation on-site. Sihanoukville Police Chief Sorotha personally led a team, drawing elite forces from the provincial police and gendarmerie, to conduct a comprehensive and in-depth search of the "Golden Jade Hall" casino building in Sihanoukville.

According to preliminary investigations, the casino building has long been suspected of organizing online fraud activities and illegally harboring a large number of foreign nationals. During the raid, some suspects attempted to escape through the building's exits. Enforcement forces quickly sealed off the surrounding area and established a tight control, rapidly stabilizing the situation and preventing any conflict.

During the operation, hundreds of suspects were apprehended, and a batch of key evidence and communication devices were seized. To date, approximately 400 foreign nationals involved in the case have been transferred to the Immigration Department for deportation or legal review; several hundred others remain in the "Golden Mansion" building pending further verification of their identities and in-depth investigation.
