Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – According to Taiwan's "United Daily News," Kaohsiung Mayor Chen Chi-mai praised the city's safety at a police event on June 13, stating that no shootings had occurred in the city this year. However, the very next day, a rifle shooting occurred in Kaohsiung, leaving the scene littered with spent shell casings.
The report states that on the morning of June 14, a car repair shop in Kaohsiung's Daliao District was suspected of being opened fire with a rifle. Dozens of shell casings were left at the scene, and the iron gate was riddled with bullet holes. Fortunately, no one was injured. Local police are investigating whether the shop owner had any conflicts with others or debt disputes.
