Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – The Huanggang Border Inspection Station of the Shenzhen Entry-Exit Border Inspection General Station announced on the 12th that a new peak in inbound and outbound passenger traffic is expected at the Huanggang and Futian ports during the Spring Festival holiday. The average daily passenger flow at Huanggang Port is expected to exceed 60,000, while the average daily passenger flow at Futian Port is expected to exceed 230,000.

It is understood that the mainland's Spring Festival holiday in 2026 will be from February 15th to 23rd (the 28th day of the twelfth lunar month to the 7th day of the first lunar month), and Hong Kong's public holidays will be from February 17th to 19th (the first to the third day of the first lunar month). The long holiday period, the dense cultural, tourism, and commercial activities between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, coupled with promotions of "Guangdong goods" and international medical tourism services attracting overseas tourists, will result in significant two-way passenger flow at the ports.

Based on comprehensive analysis and forecasts, the peak inbound passenger flow at Huanggang Port is expected to be from February 18th to 22nd (the second to sixth day of the Lunar New Year), from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM the following day; the peak outbound passenger flow is expected to be concentrated between 9:00 PM and 1:00 AM the following day. The peak inbound passenger flow at Futian Port is expected to be from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM daily from February 18th to 22nd; the peak outbound passenger flow is expected to be concentrated between 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM daily.

A relevant official from Huanggang Border Inspection Station stated that since the Spring Festival was included in UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, its cultural appeal has continued to expand. Coupled with the optimization of visa-free policies, more and more foreign tourists are choosing to come to China to experience the Spring Festival atmosphere, especially in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, where "Guangdong goods" consumption and specialized health checkups have become new experiences for a joyful "Chinese New Year," further promoting the integration of cross-border tourism and the economy.

To facilitate trade and personnel flows within the Greater Bay Area, Huanggang Border Inspection Station has scientifically allocated its manpower, dynamically opened all inspection channels, and maintained close communication with departments such as the Hong Kong Immigration Department to strengthen passenger flow monitoring and guidance. At the same time, it has added multilingual guidance posts to provide considerate services for the elderly, children, and foreign travelers. (End)
