Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On the 29th, as the G520 train slowly pulled into Xi'an North Station, a "Mobile Museum on High-Speed Rail" cultural event themed "A Mirror Connects Us on Qixi Festival, A Halberd Carries Love Across a Thousand Years" officially launched.
This event, jointly planned by China Railway Xi'an Bureau Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Xi'an Railway Bureau) and the Han Jingdi Yangling Mausoleum Museum, uses the high-speed rail as a "mobile cultural carrier" to integrate the cultural heritage of Shaanxi's Han and Tang dynasties into the journey, allowing passengers to experience history and romance during their trip. The event closely adheres to the Qixi Festival's theme of "love and inheritance," creating a "walking cultural classroom" through immersive carriage scenes and interactive experiences, blending historical culture with modern services. On the platform, Hanfu-clad staff members and the modern style of the high-speed rail complemented each other, creating a unique atmosphere of ancient and modern fusion.
The event opened with a situational drama, "The Lychee of Chang'an." Train attendants, dressed in Tang Dynasty costumes, performed the dance "Double-Faced Yan Xun," recreating the grandeur of the Tang Dynasty. They then distributed Xi'an specialty snacks to passengers, drawing enthusiastic applause. Staff from the Han Jingdi Yangling Mausoleum Museum, dressed as Wei Qing and Princess Pingyang, greeted passengers with ancient Han Dynasty etiquette, becoming a popular photo opportunity.
After the train departed, carriage 13 displayed museum cultural and creative products, and the windows were decorated with pictures of cultural relics. The "Carriage 13, Seat 14 - Couple's Seat" became a popular photo spot for couples. The dance performance was repeated, the train conductor introduced convenient summer travel services, and the Han Dynasty etiquette experience was a highlight. Passengers tried on Hanfu (traditional Han clothing), learned Han Dynasty etiquette, listened to the love story of Wei Qing and Princess Pingyang, and experienced the tea ceremony under the guidance of "ancient people," feeling the cultural heritage.
Zhang Zhong, a mechanic from the Xi'an EMU Depot, performed a magic trick, "Horse Treading on a Flying Swallow," which drew cheers from children. Passengers also painted patterns on lanterns to express their holiday wishes. The songs, interactive games, and quizzes in the train carriages further enhanced the cultural experience of the journey.
Train conductor Zhang Lusi said, "When traditional culture 'comes alive' in the carriages, we see the light in the eyes of our passengers." Staff from the Han Jingdi Yangling Mausoleum Museum also expressed their hope that the high-speed rail, as a "window," will allow more people to fall in love with history and understand China.
It is understood that the Xi'an Railway Bureau will further strengthen cooperation with cultural and tourism departments, deeply explore Shaanxi's history and culture, and, relying on the train as a "mobile cultural carrier," innovate forms of cultural dissemination to continuously enrich passengers' travel experiences and improve their overall journey.
