Based on the current river flood discharge situation and after comprehensive consultation and assessment, the Provincial Flood Control Headquarters has decided to activate a Level IV flood control emergency response for Shijiazhuang, Chengde, Zhangjiakou, Tangshan, Qinhuangdao, Baoding, Cangzhou, Hengshui, Xingtai, Handan, Dingzhou, and Xinji cities starting at 11:00 AM on August 8th. Langfang City will maintain a Level III flood control emergency response, and Xiong'an New Area will maintain a Level IV flood control emergency response.
