Chinese Coast Guard conducts emergency rescue of Filipino crew member who fell overboard.

  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – At 1:34 AM on January 23, the China Coast Guard received a report from the Sansha City Maritime Search and Rescue Center in Hainan Province that a foreign cargo ship had capsized 55 nautical miles northwest of Huangyan Island, China, with 21 Filipino crew members on board.

  Following the incident, the China Coast Guard immediately dispatched two coast guard vessels to the area to conduct search and rescue operations. As of now, 13 people have been rescued, and the rescue operation is still ongoing.
